Yuri Baidoukov 

Chief Financial Officer

Yuri Baidoukov is Group Chief Financial Officer at Gemcorp, with responsibility for the financial leadership of Gemcorp Capital and the wider platform.

Yuri has over 30 years of experience across the energy, natural resources and financial services sectors with a global reach. His career has given him emerging market exposure across the CIS, Africa, MENA, Latin America and Asia, developing a strong appreciation for the diverse cultures and economic environments in these regions. 

He has held senior finance and board roles at a range of global businesses, including Schlumberger, Maersk Oil US, CGG and other international energy and services companies, where he led finance functions through periods of growth, restructuring and strategic repositioning.

His career has spanned both listed and private equity-backed organisations, with expertise in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, treasury and enterprise risk management. 

Yuri holds an MBA from the TRIUM Global Executive MBA programme, a joint program of NYU Stern School of Business, the London School of Economics and HEC Paris. He also holds an MSc (Honours) in Economics and is an affiliate member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
