Pranav Khamar  

Portfolio Manager

Pranav Khamar is a Portfolio Manager, Partner and member of the Investment Committee at Gemcorp Capital. He is responsible for originating, structuring and managing private capital investments across emerging markets.

Pranav has been with Gemcorp since 2014 and brings more than 15 years of experience in emerging markets investing. His work spans the full investment lifecycle, from origination and structuring to portfolio management, with a particular focus on energy infrastructure and sovereign-linked credits across Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Europe and the Middle East. He was responsible for turnaround and successful exit of stressed portfolio investments following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to joining Gemcorp, Pranav spent much of his career at Royal Bank of Scotland in London and Dubai, where he executed infrastructure and structured finance transactions across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His experience in complex, cross-border financing continues to inform his approach to structuring resilient capital solutions in dynamic markets.

Pranav holds an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
