Head of Structured Credit

Miles Hunt is Head of Structured Credit at Gemcorp Capital, where he focuses on developing risk-sharing partnerships with banks, sponsors and institutional counterparties across emerging markets. Through these partnerships, Gemcorp aims to increase the flow of capital into regions where the firm already has investment exposure and, in many cases, an on-the-ground presence through its operating platform Imbono.

Miles brings more than 30 years of experience across fixed income and structured credit markets, spanning syndication, structuring, solutions and trading. Prior to joining Gemcorp, he was Global Head of Syndicate at NatWest, where he led the distribution of both liquid and private credit products as well as the bank’s primary underwriting business.

Over the course of his career, Miles has also held senior roles at Citibank, JPMorgan and RBS, developing extensive experience in originating and structuring complex financing solutions across international credit markets.

Miles is particularly motivated by the potential for well-structured capital to deliver meaningful outcomes in emerging markets, supporting both local economic development and long-term investor returns.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from King’s College London.
