Portfolio Manager

Long Pham is a Portfolio Manager in the Investments and Structuring team at Gemcorp Capital, responsible for managing the full transaction lifecycle, with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure investments across emerging markets.

Born and raised in Vietnam, Long developed an early appreciation for the transformative impact of economic development and foreign investment. Witnessing his home country’s rapid development over the past three decades – from trade embargo to one of the world’s fastest-growing economies – shaped his conviction that well-structured capital can drive both financial returns and meaningful real-world progress.

Prior to joining Gemcorp in 2017, Long worked in the natural resources team within the investment banking unit at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, advising on transactions across the energy and resources sectors. His experience across both banking and principal investing informs his hands-on approach to transaction execution and asset management.

Long holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
