Brad McKee

Head of Private Credit 

Brad McKee is Head of Private Credit at Gemcorp Capital, based in New York. He leads the firm’s private credit platform and serves as a member of the Investment Committee, with responsibility for overseeing private credit investments across emerging markets.

Brad brings extensive experience in investing across the full spectrum of emerging markets private credit, including direct lending, infrastructure, real estate, asset-backed finance and commodities finance. His appointment strengthens Gemcorp’s global private credit capabilities and expands the firm’s presence in Latin America, a region where he has spent much of his career investing and building long-term relationships.

Prior to joining Gemcorp, Brad was responsible for emerging markets private credit at Oaktree Capital Management. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner and Co-Head of Emerging Markets Private Credit at Gramercy Funds Management and Managing Director responsible for Emerging Markets Private Credit at Deutsche Bank. Across these roles, he has developed deep expertise in originating, structuring and managing complex credit investments across emerging economies.

Alongside his investment career, Brad has served for more than a decade on the board of Educando, an education-focused non-governmental organisation supporting public education in Latin America, where he has chaired both the Finance and Audit Committees.

Brad holds a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
