Alex McKenna 

Chief Operating Officer

Alex McKenna is Global Chief Operating Officer at Gemcorp Capital, where he is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day operations and the continued development of its global operating platform.

Alex brings more than two decades of experience in asset management, with a background spanning operations, technology, product management, governance and distribution support. His career has been focused on building and scaling institutional investment businesses, with a particular emphasis on operational resilience, regulatory oversight and cross-border platform development.

Prior to joining Gemcorp in 2025, Alex was Chief Operating Officer for EMEA & APAC at Muzinich & Co, where he also served as a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. In that role, he oversaw regional operations, infrastructure and strategic initiatives supporting the firm’s international growth. Earlier in his career, Alex was Head of Fund Oversight at Neuberger Berman and held senior roles at LV= Asset Management, Ninety-One and BNY Mellon.
